On Wednesday most of us ventured into the heart of DC to do the "mall" which is most of the monuments. It was colder than I expected, but we still had a great time. I especially loved that we ended our day with a trip to
Georgetown Cupcakes. Ohmygoodness. These cupcakes were amazing. Even waiting outside (yes the line to get in the store was that long) in the cold rain
for an hour was worth it!

| See the socks on his hands? My poor kiddos. I was not prepared for the cold and wind! |
| Payton with Jessie at the Korean war memorial |
| Love these two! Lincoln monument. |
| "CHHEESE!" To say Payt was OBSESSED with the Washington Monument would be an understatement. I have no idea what caused the fascination, but throughout our day he always had to know where it was, and he was constantly asking to go closer to it. Funny boy! |
| Payt's recently learned "up" and "down", so all along the these chains he run his hands up and down, while narrorating his movements. |
| Derek saw Payton doing his up and down thing, and Derek had to join in. He's starting to copy Payton so much! |
| Payton, again, with his beloved monument! |
| Payt's only in this picture because he had to pee, haha (and he's not stoned, even though it looks that way ;). Everyone except for Brandon and me were in the van while Brandon and I waited in line at Georgetown Cupcakes |
| Even though the line was super long, I enjoyed my time just me and my sweetheart! |
