Christmas Eve- early edition

We decided to celebrate most of our Christmas when my mom was still in town. On our Christmas Eve, Dec.9, we had our ward's Christmas party, got cupcakes, and opened our traditional Christmas PJs from my Mom.

The ward party was wonderful. I didn't get pictures, but my little Payton decided to participate with the primary age kids and be an angel. He looked so sweet with his halo. Another mom and I had to laugh about our two year old boys wanting to be angels...most of the time we don't feel that they are very heavenly ;), but this night it just melted my heart. He was acting like such a big kid. I asked one of the other angels (who was 7) to hold Payt's hand as they went on stage. Payt did well for about a minute, but then I started hearing "B? Bbbbb?" (B is what he calls me) and Payt started walking towards the edge of the stage. I ended up getting him off, but I was so proud of him for actually going up on stage without me for a few minutes.

Once we were home we opened our Christmas PJs. Payt squealed when he saw that his "Mamal" had gotten him "Choo Choo" pajamas. We then read scriptures and got the boys down. I then enjoyed setting up their "new" train track (it is a hand-me-down from my brother Jared).
