It was...interesting, and hard, and fun, and exhausting, and...it was a lot of feelings all mixed together.
Lesson learned: if you take little kids to Disney it is about them and not about you.
Day 1 we tried to do mostly adult stuff, and our kids were miserable. It wasn't that fun. Plus, it was beyond COLD! I was not prepared for that. Also, did I mention Derek slept in the stroller the whole day so someone always had to be with him?
Day 2 The sun was out, and the wind had stopped. Dustin, Tara, and their girls, and Brandon, myself, and our boys did kid stuff together and it was much more fun because the kids weren't stressed/bored, etc. Plus, the husbands watched the babies during nap time while Tara and I played.
The trip ended up being really, really good...but lesson learned. Only take older kids to Disney!
way to lick that jacket, Payt!
not surprisingly, the tram was Payt's favorite part
He's a crazy driver!

I love that picture of the four of you with the castle in the background at night. What a great picture. :)
Oh no - does that mean you guys didn't use the stroller passes?! Because if you use those, you can have a great time even with kids! We have an awesome time with kids but we always go with couples who have kids and then tradeoff with the stroller passes to ride fun things too. I'm still glad you got to go - I love Disneyland!!!
Daisy, we did use them...but it was still hard on Payt to wait and such. Plus it was SO COLD the first day that trying to keep children warm and happy was nearly impossible.
