But I'm passionate about people learning about their thyroids and, hopefully, improving the quality of their lives if they have a thyroid problem.
So here's a mini-post:
My doctor has recommended to me this AWESOME medical website called uptodate.com/patient. I LOVE LOVE LOVE it. And my doctor takes me a little more seriously when I get info from a website he recommended :). Yes, I am that mom that starts every conversation with, "Well, I was google-ing his symptoms and..."
This site has awesome info about a hypothyroid, including symptoms, causes, and treatment options. Please click HERE to read what they have to say. They're legit and definitely worth a visit!
***This post is part of a series I am doing because it's Thyroid Health Awareness Month. I am not a physician, nurse, or anything like that. I am a woman who's had to learn a lot about her thyroid in the past year. My almost-lawyer-husband would be so proud that I'm including the following: I am not liable for this information nor for the decisions you make based upon what I post. My hope is to teach people some basic thyroid information but if you have real concerns talk to your doctor!***
